Taster for Tomorrow's Teachers
Secondary teachers of the future are invited to sample a taste of the profession courtesy of Edge Hill University ? the largest providers of secondary teacher education programmes in the country.
The University is to host an open evening at the Woodlands Centre in Chorley, aimed at those interested in becoming secondary teachers.
The event takes place on Thursday 6th July from 6pm until 7.30pm, focussing on the Secondary Flexible Postgraduate Programme. Edge Hill?s flexible approach to training means that people can choose how to study, the content and outcomes of the programme, the number of modules they study, the number of weeks required in school and the overall time it takes to complete the programme.
Edge Hill?s dean of the Faculty of Education Robert Smedley said: "Our flexibility is dependent on the extent and relevance of qualifications and experience. We offer 10 subject specialisms* on the Secondary Flexible Postgraduate Programme, so if you?re interested in following a dynamic career in teaching we can find a route to suit you."
For further information about the open evening please contact Edge Hill?s Enquiries Unit on 0800 195 5063.
