Results day delight

Laughter and tears rang through Edge Hill?s Hale Hall as students picked up their eagerly awaited exam results. Around 200 students came back to Edge Hill to collect their results for degrees, foundation degrees and PGCEs(Professional Graduate Certificates in Education), with 1600 receiving an award, the highest number ever.

This year saw an increase in the number of students achieving first class honours degrees and the first cohort of students were awarded foundation degrees in Computing and in Management.

Chief Executive John Cater is delighted with this year?s results: "I would like to congratulate all our students on achieving their awards, as well as the staff that have supported them throughout their studies at Edge Hill. I look forward to the graduation ceremony at Lancaster University when graduates will receive their degrees and diplomas."

Twelve special award winners celebrated with family and friends picking up prizes for exceptionally high achievement in their subject areas from psychology to teaching and computing.
