NEW MASTERS IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
A new MSc in Contemporary Health and Social Care is set to start at Edge Hill College of Higher Education this September.
The course, relevant for those working in any of the allied health professions, is to be delivered on a flexible part time basis, and can be studied over a minimum of two years, based at Edge Hill?s Aintree Campus.
Mair Ning is course manager, she said: "This masters programme is ideal for those who want to gain a deeper understanding of the National Health Service policy and modernisation agenda at a national level, to apply new directives and initiatives to their own practice. This is a very valuable masters qualification that will help people to develop advanced skills and knowledge."
Participants will develop their expertise whilst continually enhancing their ability to solve problems and progress in their own professional setting.
Topics include quality and governance, partnerships in action and researching health and social care with specialist pathways in public health, mental health, or leadership and management.
Current experience and qualifications can be credited towards the programme.
