RECORD NUMBERS ATTEND OPEN EVENT

The Euro 2004 semi- finals didn?t stop around 600 prospective students visiting Edge Hill College of Higher Education last Wednesday (1st July), setting a new record for the number of visitors at an open event.

Despite the wind and rain people came from as far afield as Northern Ireland and Southampton to visit the Ormskirk Campus to find out about the range of opportunities on offer, with many interested in courses starting in 2005.

Prospective students and their families, as well as pupils from a range of high schools took tours of the campus, attended presentations and met academic staff to learn more about their chosen area of study.

Edge Hill offers a range of courses from Foundation Degrees through to undergraduate programmes to Masters and PhD?s.
