RECORD NUMBERS ATTEND OPEN DAY
Around 500 prospective students visited Edge Hill College of Higher Education last Saturday (3rd April), setting a new record for the number of visitors at an Open Day.
People came from as far afield as Kent, Newcastle, Nottingham and Yorkshire as well as the North-West region to visit the Ormskirk Campus, to find out about the range of courses on offer.
Prospective students and their families, a total of around 1500, took tours of the campus and accommodation, enjoyed lunch in Sages restaurant and the Terrace caf? and met academic staff to talk about their chosen area of study.
Edge Hill offers a range of courses from Foundation Degrees through to undergraduate programmes to Masters and PhDs.
As one of the largest providers of teacher training in the country Edge Hill has also pioneered innovative training routes for classroom and teaching assistants and serving teachers and is a major provider of training for health professionals.
