LAUNCH INTO IT AT EDGE HILL

Edge Hill is set to launch new part-time degree programmes in computing and systems information, aimed at those wishing to study while they work.

Launch events are scheduled for Tuesday 16th March and Tuesday 23rd of March from 5.30 until 7.30pm at Edge Hill?s Liverpool based learning centre on the 2nd Floor in Silkhouse Court, Tithebarn Street.

The launch events are aimed at those interested in finding out more about the part-time BSc routes in Information Systems, Web Systems Development and Business Information Systems. The team who deliver the degree programmes will be on hand to offer advice and guidance about any aspect of study.

James Coleman is Head of Information Systems at Edge Hill. He said: "Our part time degrees are specially designed for those with work commitments and they?re one of the few part-time computing degrees on offer in the region. This route is the perfect option for those keen to gain a valuable degree qualification whilst continuing to earn. Online learning as well as face-to-face sessions combines with part-time study sessions at weekends and in the evening. And with delivery based in the centre of Liverpool, city employees can gain valuable knowledge and skills on a degree programme that fits around their working commitments."

The degree courses can be completed in as little as four years and delivery includes a weekend induction session and study at one evening class every week for four weeks, then evening attendance every three weeks.
