Help with University IT
All University systems are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we work to provide you with access wherever you need it, at work, at home, on placement or at University. All you need is your network username and password, it gives you access to all the systems and services listed below.

| Learning Edge | Learning Edge is a suite of systems which can be accessed online to support your learning experience.
At the heart of Learning Edge is Blackboard Learn (version 9.1), which is where you will find your Programme or Module course areas. Within these course areas you have 24/7/365 access to:

Use your network username and password to access Learning Edge via the GO Portal. Follow the Learning Edge link at the top of the page. If your course isn't listed, seek advice from your lecturer.
Or by a direct URL at http://learningedge.edgehill.ac.uk
If you have an Android, iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch or Blackberry you can download the mobile app from your App store.

| Edge Hill University Network | Secure storage for your data and files is provided through the network. Generic software such as Microsoft Office is available in addition to subject specific software such as DreamWeaver, SPSS and Minitab. Access to the Internet and email is also provided. | Log on to any computer on campus, using your student number and password (provided at registration). |
| GO Portal | Logging in through GO will give you access to all University systems, as well as allowing you to personalise your working space. All staff and students have a university email account. We are currently changing email systems - newer students (2009 onwards) receive a Google Mail account (joe.blogs@go.edgehill.ac.uk), whilst earlier students (pre 2009) have a traditional address (student number@edgehill.ac.uk). |

| TurnItIn | TurnItIn is Edge Hill University's anti-plagiarism e-submission system. TurnItIn components allow e-Submission, plagiarism detection and online marking. | TurnItIn is integrated within Learning Edge. Access Learning Edge as above. |
| PebblePad | PebblePad is an e-Portfolio system currently used within Edge Hill's Faculty of Education. It provides staff and students with access to a range of tools for purposeful collection of digital items, such as ideas, evidence, reflections and feedback, which can be presented as evidence of a person's learning and/or ability. | You can access PebblePad via the GO portal - if you haven't got the panel available already you can add it:

| RefWorks | RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic management tool that allows you to create a database of references.
