RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic management tool that allows you to create a database of references. References can be added manually or imported from electronic journal collections and Google Scholar. For more information take a look at the RefWorks Guide.

Academic Search Premier
Covers a wide range of subjects including Media. It is a good starting point when you are new to searching for journal articles it can be used to find full text peer reviewed journal articles.
Arts and Humanities Citation Index

Meet the Learning Services Media Team
Our aim, in collaboration with academic colleagues, is to support students studying Media.
Support for information resources are based in the top floor office of the University Library at Ormskirk. The academic liaison team provide inductions, information literacy workshops, and 1-to-1 support. We help you to get the most from the resources and services we provide. We work in partnership with academic colleagues to develop group sessions to help you maximise the resources available to support your studies.
Help in developing and supporting the use of equipment, the TV Studios and our media facilities can be found in the top floor of the LINC building.
