The AimHigher programme is a government initiative, funded until July 2011, whose chief purpose is to support widening participation in higher education, enabling a greater proportion of young people from traditionally under-represented groups access to a higher education opportunity.  Aimhigher Partnerships across England provide information, support, and activities for young people. Edge Hill provides data support to the five Aimhigher Partnerships in the North-West.

The successful candidate will analyse data from a variety of sources and present it in useful forms for the Partnerships, to help them with planning and reporting their activities.  The appointee will be required to liaise with internal departments and external organisations, and process and provide data accurately.
