The Faculty's portfolio comprises initial teacher training across all age phases together with a comprehensive portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate professional development programmes and accreditation. In addition the Faculty is highly successful at securing and delivering national projects. For example the national Every Child Counts (ECC) project, Early Years Professional Status (EYPS), Masters in Teaching and Learning (MTL) and Primary Mathematics Specialist Training. At the heart of everything that the Faculty delivers is the student experience, impact and leading research.The Faculty is very ambitious with a strong team and continues to look for opportunities to work with new colleagues, partners and employers.

Work at the forefront of Primary Mathematics Education, directing our Mathematics Specialist Teacher (MaST) programme across the North West and the West Midlands. Supported by a comprehensive infrastructure across the regions and at the University the role involves a high level of liaison with a project manager, regional co-ordinators and the DCSF to ensure effective delivery. An outstanding practitioner, you will have a good understanding of current leading-edge developments in the field. You will combine this with effective skills in team leadership, communication and organisation.
