International Foundation Programme

What it is

The International Foundation Programme has been specifically developed for international students who would like to study for an undergraduate degree, but don’t have the relevant qualifications.

If you would like to improve your English language skills and academic ability, or have recently finished your studies in high school (equivalent to British AS-level, or Year 12), then this course will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to start a degree course.

If the IFP programme is successfully completed, your English language ability will be at least IELTS 6.0 enabling you to progress to degree study in a wide range of areas, including a guaranteed place on an Edge Hill degree programme.
