Kimber's Men - Britain's leading sea shanty group perform their superb harmonies at the Rose Theatre.

Audiences have raved over Kimber's Men, their harmonies being described as superb. They play a selection of instruments and write some of their own songs. Performing at an impressive list of sea and folk festivals from Ireland to Denmark and Holland, in Britain they have sung in theatres and festivals from Aberdeen to Cornwall and Jersey. Formed in the summer of 2001, they now comprise Dave Buckley (ship's Captain); Gareth Scott (Powder Monkey) and founding members, the ship's cook, doctor and bosun who are best left nameless.
