Perioperative Conference: Knowledge Without Borders
Friday, 10th September 2010, 8:00am - 4:15pm
We live in a world of barriers and borders. The aim of this conference is to breach these borders and provide knowledge, insight and understanding into the work of professionals from several different disciplines, and different countries, and how the work they do relates to perioperative care.
This conference covers several different topics including managing difficult airways, transferring critically patients, managing post traumatic stress disorders, working for a charity overseas, caring for perioperative patients in China and Gaza, the developing role of blood banks, and maintaining professional standards and autonomy.
We will also be carrying out simulated workshops using the latest simulation technology and there will be an exhibition displaying the latest developments in medical technology.
