Bridging Project
‘Making a difference to people lives’
‘Bridging’ is an innovative scheme that aims to set up informal peer support for those who feel isolated. We aim to link people with similar interests enabling both parties to enjoy the University experience. This might include going for a coffee once a week, going to the cinema, gym or shopping, to music or sporting events, wherever people’s interests lie. We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds but you need to be interested in people and be able to give a few hours of your time. Expenses will be paid and many training opportunities will be available.
Please fill in the accompanying application form and return to Jennie Jackson in the Careers Centre. If you want more information or just to chat to someone about the project please contact Jennie or Dan.
