Continuing Professional Development
The Centre for Local Policy Studies offer individuals and organisations (public, voluntary and private) assistance and advice in relation to education, training and workforce development.
Working with individuals and organisations, the Centre has designed a flexible and responsive package tailored to meet the respective needs of each partner, and can offer:
- Quality learning resources and a supportive learning environment;
- Staff expertise and experience in research, consultancy and project management in the public, private and voluntary sectors;
- A track record in delivering successful programmes;
- A series of postgraduate modules/courses;
- Tailor-made, bespoke programmes for individuals or organisations.
We also offer flexible programmes for professional development, making use of different delivery methods:
- Work-based learning;
- University-based programmes;
- Online/distance learning and in-house training.
Current programmes where CPD can be applied include:
- MA Equality and Diversity Management
- MA Voluntary and Third Sector Management
- Master of Public Administration (MPA)
- PGDip/MA Youth and Community Work
