About the Business School

Edge Hill’s brand new Business School building was opened in January 2009. Set in the heart of the campus our state-of-the-art facility is a visible testament to how much we have developed in a short space of time. Within two years we have reviewed the whole of our curriculum, introduced a range of innovative new programmes, welcomed an increasing number of students from across the globe and enhanced our part-time provision for UK students.

The Business School is increasingly engaged with the business community and undertaking more research activity. This growth though will not change the fundamental professional, open and friendly nature of the school. The excellent working relationship which exists between staff and students is a feature we are determined to maintain and which is reflected in the excellent results in the National Student Survey. We will do our part to make sure that your time here is enjoyable and productive.

One of the unique attributes of the school is that it contains both Business and Computing. This means that, as well as providing programmes in these two disciplines, we can ensure that our computing students have a good understanding of the world of business and that our business students have an exposure to the many technological changes which impact on management.
