The Centre for Research with Children and Young People at Edge Hill will develop child-centred research of national and international importance, addressing issues that confront socially excluded and vulnerable young people, by undertaking research with, by and for children and young people. The Centre will provide a critical analytical response to professional ideologies, philosophies and discourses, and the policies and practices of those engaged in working with children and families.
