Academic Quality & Development Unit
Edge Hill's Academic Quality & Development Unit manages the University's processes for developing, approving and quality assuring programmes of study which are aligned fully with the UK Quality Code for Higher Education.
Universities UK has produced a helpful guide ‘Quality & Standards in UK Universities’ [PDF] which explains how higher education institutions assure academic quality and standards and you can download the University’s own Quality Management Handbook [PDF].
Edge Hill was also the lead institution in a Good Management Practice project on Quality Risk Management funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, download the final report Quality Risk Management Report [PDF].
