Partnerships
Edge Hill University leads a number of national initiatives and works closely with a number of professional bodies and employers. Our partnerships and collaborations include:
- Delivering a range of programmes at study centres across the North West, around the UK and in Singapore.
- Leading the Prime Consortium, the sole provider of HLTA assessment in the North West.
- Leading Action on Access, the national coordination team supporting institutions and partnerships to promote widening participation in Higher Education.
- Lead institution in the region for Aimhigher, the government initiative to encourage people underrepresented in the sector to take up higher education opportunities.
- Lead institution in the North West for the Greater Merseyside and West Lancashire Lifelong Learning Network (LLN); a partnership of higher education institutions and 14 further education colleges providing pathways to higher education for vocational learners.
- Working in partnership with over 300 employers, ranging from those in the private health care sector to the financial service industries, the National Trust and Sony Entertainment.
- Collaborating with over 900 primary schools and almost 600 secondary schools as we deliver higher education routes for the whole school workforce.
- Facilitating student nurses, midwives and operating department practitioners carrying out placements in over 300 hospitals and community locations throughout the region.
